Monthly Archives: December 2012

Mike posner did a tribute song for those lives lost during the tragedy on December 14, 2012 and it is wonderful.  Listen to it.

Snoop LION and Mike P have a lighters up remix out but it has not yet been leaked. I will be on the look out.  In the mean time, lets ponder on the fact that Snoop Dogg is officially Snoop Lion and how ridiculous this is…..okay.

Finals are over, and thanks to grades FINALLY being posted I can continue living.
That being said, I missed out on a bunch but KittyBeatz is back in the biz.
Of all the tracks and mixtapes I’ve filtered through, I’m just going to shout out to the ones that had the most ratched impact, duh.

Young Jeezy’s “It’s tha world” mixtape GOES SO HARD. So definitely check that out:

Looks like Juvenile is on the come up as well with his mixtape “Juvie Tuesdays.”
I can dig it.

I am surprisingly loving Ca$h Out’s mixtape “Keisha.” Normally I can only take the tone of his voice for so long, but this mixtape can get it I guess. I’m having some problems find a source with all of the songs so I’m going to have to go with my favsies:

Coolin It

Oldie remix’s are hard to master, they are either a complete hit or miss. This one is definitely a hit for me.
Then again, It’s hard to dislike anything with Biggie in it, am I right?

Sorry for the absence guys, I was stuffing antibiotics down my throat, and econ into my brain.  I’m back though and in a much better place.  Anyway, here’s a gem that I found a few months ago, but was saving for a good day.  We all know Woody, the west coast producer who refixes all sorts of great songs.  He does his thing once again, and it’s another impressive piece.  Enjoy.

Now, Lets not forget the title of this blog, KITTYBeatz.
That being said, I think it is important that you meet the man behind my music madness.
His name is meesta and he’s the king ratchet kitty.

And yes, the video does feature Ke$ha’s song Crazy Kids from her newest album that dropped about a week ago.  Never was a huge fan of hers, but this song is tolerable and suits my cat very well thank you.

KittyBeatz started off as a class assignment for a digital and online media course.  At first I thought this was pesky and annoying, but as the time and posts passed, I began to actually enjoy blogging.  Not only was I able to share my interests with others, but blogging forced me to keep up with music for my own use as well.

By sharing links on twitter, I found more and more people who enjoy the same type of music I listen to.  This experience has also given new light to a different side of mass communication for me.  I never realized how huge of an impact blogging had on communicating to the masses, and the way it influences the readers.

All in all, I’m glad I was required to make this blog, and I plan on keeping up with it on a regular basis.

wiz new

Wiz Khalifa’s new album, O.N.I.F.C dropped yesterday and I’m super pumped.  We all have those moments when we just want to listen to some slow chiefin’ rap to mellow the mood.  I like this album because he has that side, but also some ratchet up beat jams that I tend to listen to more than the slower tracks.  All in all, I’m impressed.

ANYWAY I picked out my favs as usual:

Initiation ft. Lola Monroe

Gone ft. Juicy J

What is Ludacris Up to? Because let’s be honest, we all miss him.

[View the story “What happened to ludacris, and what does he have up his sleeve for the future?” on Storify]

I put together a little storify about him and his up-to-date stuff.
GREAT NEWS YOU GUYS! There WILL be another Fast and Furious…..
……lets all just agree we hate to love this never-ending movie.
